How to choose a diamond engagement ring:
Buying the perfect engagement ring is no small task. Nowadays, a buyer is spoilt for choices as diamonds in engagement rings have different cuts, shapes, sizes etc. diamond engagement rings are classified on four criteria’s:
Cut – a diamond is cut correctly, when the light reflected from all the facets is dispersed through the top of the diamond.
Color – the most important attribute is the color. Although diamonds have a wide range of color, the best is the colorless one.
Clarity – most diamonds consist of tiny impurities known as “inclusions”. However, a pure flawless diamond is priceless.
Carat – this denotes the weight of a diamond. One carat is equal to 100 points. A diamond with 80 points weighs .80 ct.
